San Jose police are investigating a shooting reported just after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers responded to the 1600 block of Virginia Avenue in East San Jose for a report of a teen who had been shot.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound, officials said. He was transported to a local hospital and was treated for life-threatening injuries.
The suspects, who have not been identified by police, remain at large.
The shooting remains under investigation and no other information is being released by police at this time.
