Police are investigating a fire that killed a man at a Livermore home Friday morning.
At about 6:15 a.m., Livermore police officers and firefighters with the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 1200 block of Asti Court, where responders encountered smoke coming from inside a home.
Firefighters entered the home and extinguished the fire before locating the deceased man inside the home.
No other injuries were reported, according to police.
The Alameda County coroner's bureau had not identified the man as of this afternoon.
