Police are investigating a fatal shooting reported late Monday in San Francisco's Portola district.
Capt. Raj Vaswani said via Twitter that officers were working a shooting with one victim. A dispatcher confirmed that the incident was reported at 9:13 p.m., and that one victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital.
Vaswani later said the shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
