San Francisco police are investigating a morning homicide at an apartment complex now far from Cow Palace in San Francisco, a spokeswoman said.
Officers responded at 3:07 a.m. to a shooting in the area of Brookdale Avenue.
Police said they located a victim fatally shot.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's family told NBC Bay Area that he was a young father in his twenties. He was found dead in front of some apartments in the Sunnydale neighborhood.
