San Francisco police were tangled in an officer-involved shooting in the city's financial district Wednesday morning, a police spokesman said.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at 10:17 a.m. at Pier 17. The condition of the stabbing suspect hasn't been immediately released. But police did arrest a suspect near Washington and Davis streets, police spokesman Sgt. Mike Andraychak said.
Shots were fired, though the details haven't been released. The suspect was taken to the hospital.
More details were expected to be released later in the day.
