Police Search For Car After Hit And Run in SoMa Kills 2-Year-Old Girl

A two year old girl was struck and killed by a car in a hit and run in San Francisco Friday night, according to a San Francisco Police Department Public Information Officer.

At 10:37 p.m. the car was traveling eastbound on Mission Street between 4th and 5th Streets when it hit the girl while she was in a crosswalk, the officer said.

The child, who has been identified as Mi-Yana Gregory of San Francisco, was accompanied by a family member at the time of the hit and run.

The vehicle is described as a white mid-90s four-door sedan, either a Camry, Honda, or Lexus with a dark-colored mismatched front bumper and dark or black rums, according to the SFPD.

Anyone with information is asked to call SFPD. If the vehicle is seen on the road, witnesses should call 911. Anonymous tips can be made at 415-575-4444.
