Police Search for Hit-and-Run Driver in San Bruno

Police on Monday began searching for a hit-and-run driver in a deadly accident along Skyline Boulevard in San Bruno.

The death of Scott Glasner, 27, was reported sometime after 1:40 a.m. near Skyline College near College Drive, said Lt. Troy Fry. His brother, Max Glasner, said his brother suffered from severe autism and lived in a nearby care facility. He had wandered off, his brother said. "At this time, we have no reason to suspect any negligence on the part of the home staff," he said. "He was just a determined, strong-willed individual."

Witnesses told police the vehicle was a dark, newer model Mercedes SLK. Max Glasner said he hopes that driver will come forward.

Anyone with any information should call the San Bruno Police Department at (650) 616-7100 or by email at sbpdtipline@sanbruno.ca.gov.
