Police found a marijuana grow house in a Hercules neighborhood on Thursday, seizing 1,050 plants and arresting one Oakland woman, police said.

Officers responded at 2:49 p.m. to a report that the house on 211 Starling Way was being used as a marijuana grow house.

They entered the residence and found numerous marijuana plants inside at various stages of growth, police said.

A witness told officers that they had seen a woman in a dark gray or blue BMW at the house that morning.

As police were investigating, a woman drove by the house and was stopped by police on Pleasant Drive.

Police identified her as the person that had been at the house that morning and arrested her.

She was identified as Tu Anh Thi Chau, 34, of Oakland and booked into Contra Costa County jail in Martinez.

She is being held on $20,000 bail, police said.
