    San Jose police officials are investigating a Sunday morning stabbing that left one man dead and increased the city's homicide number for 2016 to 28. Marianne Favro reports. (Published Sunday, July 24, 2016)

    San Jose police are investigating a Sunday morning stabbing that left one man dead and increased the city's homicide number for 2016 to 28.

    Police arrived to the area of South Second and Martha streets around 2 a.m. to the scene of one man suffering from at least one stab wound, police said.

    The victim was transferred to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

    No suspects have been identified, and a motive has not been determined, police said.
