San Jose police discovered a grow house in East San Jose early Tuesday after neighbors called to report suspicious cars and people walking in and out of a home.

Police said they didn't find anyone, though, when they arrived at the one-story salmon-colored home in the 1300 block of Sandlewood Court shortly after 3 a.m. because everyone had apparently left.

Officers did find, however, an "elaborate" grow operation including 300 pot plants which could be sold on the street for about $125,000.
