Prosecutors: SF Jewelry Store Suspect Upset Over Purchase

What prompted the 23-year-old suspect in a double homicide at San Francisco's Jewelry Mart to pull the trigger? Prosecutors believe he was upset about the value of jewelry he had purchased at the store.

The suspect is Barry White of Antioch.

Investigators say White showed no hesitation last Friday in taking the lives of two innocent women -- both employees of the Victoga jewelry store.

Police say White shot and killed the women, and also stabbed them, nearly decapitating one of them.

The owner of the store, a man, was critically injured.

Police arrested white after a short chase. He was set to be arraigned on 16 felony counts Tuesday, but that arraignment was postponed until next week.
