The U.S. Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.3.earthquake centered near the tiny town of Cobb, Calif., 26 miles north of Santa Rosa on Saturday.

Local law enforcement officials report no injuries or damages after the temblor struck Saturday at 1:23 a.m. PDT.

The epicenter was located two miles west of Cobb, three miles northeast of The Geysers geothermal steam field and five miles northwest of Anderson Springs, the survey reported.

"It shook me out of bed," said Aaron Schlicting, an Oakland resident spending the weekend at his family's cabin in Cobb in Lake County. "It was really powerful. It took me a while to fall back asleep."

Schlicting and others spending Saturday morning in Cobb's coffee shop discussing the quake said there was no visible damage in the region.
