Carr, Raiders Outlast ‘Big Ben' Steelers 24-21

The Coliseum turf monster caught a body on Sunday.

With the Pittsburgh Steelers attempting a potentially game-tying field goal with four seconds remaining, kicker Chris Boswell's plant foot slip out. The ball never came close to reaching it's destination, and the Oakland Raiders came away with the thrilling 24-21 win.

For a moment, it looked like the Raiders were going to blow the hard-earned three-point lead. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger hit James Washington on a 5-yard pass and wide receiver lateraled to JuJu Smith-Schuster who ran the ball 43 yards down the sideline to set up the field goal attempt.

That's when the turf monster saved the day for the Raiders.

So, how did the Raiders take the lead? On Derek Carrier's first touchdown reception since 2015 and just the second of his career.
