It was safety first for this foot-pedaled bandit.
A gunman robbed a Lucky grocery store in Larkspur on Thursday and made his escape -- with full motorcycle helmet -- on a "Razor" scooter.
Marin police received reports of a gunman at 6:30 a.m. Thursday. Surveillance footage captured the man, wearing the black helmet, a black jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and black (and white) tennis shoes.
Police surrounded the store at 570 Magnolia Avenue, but the man had already scooted away on his Razor.
He is described as either Hispanic or Filipino. Police are asking for the public's help at 927-5150.
