Not only are the commuters eating, snacking and sleeping on Muni, some of the drivers reportedly are as well.
Muni drivers have been caught sleeping and driving high speeds through school zones, according to the California Public Utilities Commission.
A report issued last week by the CPUC documents dozens of violations by the San Francisco transit agency.
Several of the cases have been closed after the CPUC raised its concerns with the agency. A Muni spokesman told the San Francisco Examiner that the incidents were isolated.
Lots of concerns have been raised and isolated cases are being looked at more frequently now.
