A teenager who told police officers she was pregnant was stabbed near the San Jose airport Tuesday evening.
Police say the teenager was stabbed on North 4th Street near East Hedding Street. Officer Jose Garcia said authorities have been unable to confirm the teen's pregnancy.
He said her family told officers that the girl was pregnant adding that the department was limiting the release of information because the girl is a minor.
Nevertheless, the teen’s injuries would not have directly affected a fetus, according to the San Jose Mercury News. So far, police have not released a description of a possible suspect, or suspects.
