Report: San Francisco Giants Interested in Suk-Min Yoon

Korean reports say right-hander worked out for Giants in Irvine.

Fan Fest is over, Morse and Hudson are signed.

The San Francisco Giants' off-season is settled, and the roster is set for Spring Training to begin in Arizona.

Or is it?

With a question mark or two at the back end of the rotation, the San Francisco Giants took a peek at free agent right-hander Suk-Min Yoon, who would be jumping from Korean baseball to the major leagues.

According to reports from Korean media picked up by McCovey Chronicles, the right-hander worked out in front of Giants scouts at the University of California, Irvine.

If he were to be signed, there wouldn't be too much room for him -- yet. But should something happen to Ryan Vogelsong, who struggled last year, Yusmiero Petit is expected to step in -- and should something happen to Petit, the Giants wouldn't mind having insurance.

Yoon did suffer a shoulder injury in 2013, so despite being a "big deal" in Korea, that may keep him from major league rosters.
