A rescue effort is underway for a dog stuck on a cliff at Fort Funston.
The dog's owner was also stranded on the cliff but was able to make it to the beach safely. However the dog didn't want to go with her, prompting rescue crews.
The 200 ft high bluffs on the most western edge of San Francisco, Fort Funston is one of the premier hang-gliding spots in the country. It's also a popular dog beach and hiking spot for locals.
