North Bay firefighters used a jet ski to rescue a stranded driver Friday afternoon on Valley Ford Road between Bodega Bay and Petaluma.
The driver wasn't hurt but got stuck in about 3 feet of water. Crews from Sonoma Fire, Cal Fire and Marin County Fire all pitched in to help.
It happened at about noon near the small town of Bloomfield in Sonoma County.
Authorities say it’s a good reminder to motorists not to drive into standing water, because it's hard to tell how deep it is.
