Reward Offered in Case of Man Found Buried at Sonoma State
    Kirk Ryan Kimberly

Reward money is being offered for help solving the case of a young man found stabbed to death and buried on the Sonoma State University campus last month.

The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports two rewards totaling more than $7,000 are being offered for help in finding and convicting the killer or killers of 18-year-old Kirk Kimberly of Cotati, California.

The remains of Kimberly were found in a shallow grave Nov. 2, about two weeks after he went missing following a trip to meet a friend. Detectives believe Kimberly was targeted. Police say Kimberly's slaying was not connected with the college or its students.

There have been no arrests in the case. Last week, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office announced the two rewards.
