Nystrom Elementary School in Richmond has its multipurpose room back.

The new building had to be repaired after vandals struck in February.

Police said the vandals smashed windows, spilled paint and broke water pipes, which flooded the building.  Six months later, the repairs were completed at a cost of about $1 million dollars,  much of which came out of the district's insurance.

The district also has added security measures that include cameras. No one has been arrested.
