Nancy Reagan placed a wreath on her late husband's grave in Simi Valley,  today, in honor of the 100th anniversary of his birth.

The Mercury News reports the former first lady gave a brief address to the crowd of about 1,200 people, including actors, musicians and former advisers.

Also speaking were former cabinet secretary James Baker III and actor Gary Sinise.

Ronald Reagan was 93 when he died in 2004, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
