Firefighters pulled out of a residential structure fire in Antioch Saturday morning due to safety concerns when the roof began to collapse.
The incident was reported at 8:19 a.m., and firefighters responded to a working garage fire in the 2400 block of Johns Way at 8:30 a.m.
Personnel on scene reported that the roof had partially collapsed at 9:13 a.m. Crews had pulled out of the structure and all parties were accounted for at that time.
No injuries were reported, but firefighters estimated that more than 80 percent of the roof collapsed as a result of the blaze.
