SF Choir Reflects on Experience of a Lifetime
Children's choir performed before millions

They were first up on inauguration day
One of the most excited groups from the Bay Area to make the trip to Washington, D.C. for the inauguration is the San Francisco Boys and Girls choruses.
They were the only choir in the nation chosen to perform.
They are already back home after singing in front of millions of people at Obama's swearing-in ceremony.
Looking exhausted, the boys said the event was an experience of a lifetime and one they will never forget.
"I was a little nervous. I'm like whoa, if we miss up, it's going to be on National TV. Everybody's watching," admitted one of the kids.
"The mall was full and everybody was clapping. American flags were waving and we were there too and it was just so amazing to be part of history," said Elio Bucky.
"It was a lot of fun being so close to the high ranked people in the United States of America," added Daniel Hoberman.
Boys chorus member Dominique Shaw said he was honored to be one of the members chosen for the trip.
The group flew to Washington, D.C. on Friday.
They performed Saturday for Sen. Dianne Feinstein, but the main event was Tuesday morning as they kicked off the inauguration.
This was Shaw's first time in Washington. "It's cool out here," he said. "So many different old buildings."
