Members of the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco are on President Barack Obama's agenda this week.
The president is in the Bay Area for fewer than 24 hours, but he made time for a low dollar fundraiser in San Francisco at the Masonic Auditorium on Nob Hill Wednedsay night.
Boys and Girls Club board members snapped up some of those more affordable $35 tickets in bulk for the club. Around 30 of the club members will spend Wednesday afternoon and evening at the Masonic preparing to hear from the president around 8 p.m.
The teens have been chronicling their thoughts prior to the event and posting them on YouTube. Many see it as a true honor to meet the first African American president.
The Boys & Girl's club members hope to gather en mass along the president's exit route so that can shake his hand.
