SFPD Bomb Squad Lifts Evacuation Order at Red Cross Building

San Francisco police closed down the 1600 block of Market Street after someone called in a bomb threat for about two hours Monday, but officials did not report finding anything suspicious.

A building that houses the American Red Cross building was evacuated on Market near Gough Street just after 10:15 a.m. But after a two-hour search, the bomb squad lifted the evacuation order and let everyone back into the building, which also houses a National Holistic Institute campus.
