A major injury crash Tuesday morning sent one child to the hospital with "traumatic injuries" in San Jose. There are no reports of injury to the other child involved.
Two cars traveling in opposite directions near the corner of Lincoln and Franklin streets collided, with one car spinning out of control into the Carmelite Monastery wall.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they reported finding a 4-year-old boy unconscious but they were able to resuscitate him.
The unnamed boy was transported to Valley Medical Center. Two unnamed women and a 10-year-old girl were also transported to area hospitals.
Their conditions were not immediately known.
Emergency crews were still on the scene and administering first aid.
