A man was shot early this morning while he was driving on San Tomas Expressway in San Jose, San Jose police Officer Jose Garcia said.
The man was driving south on San Tomas Expressway at Stevens Creek Boulevard at about 3:30 a.m. when another vehicle pulled up alongside him and someone inside shot him, Garcia said.
The victim was hit in an extremity and was being treated at a local hospital. He is expected to recover from his injuries, Garcia said.
The victim was unable to describe his assailants or the car they were in and no suspects have been identified, Garcia said.
