San Jose police have identified the man whose body was pulled out of a pond Tuesday as 22-year-old Michael Munoz of San Jose.

Officer Jose Garcia said the case has not been ruled a homicide at this point, and investigators are still trying to figure out why and how Munoz' body was discovered submerged in the Alamitos Percolation ponds near Blossom Hill Road and Sanchez Drive.The dead body of 22-year-old Michael Munoz, of San Jose, was discovered submerged in the Alamitos Percolation ponds near Blossom Hill Road and Sanchez Drive in San Jose, Calif., on May 29, 2012.

The body was spotted at 8:30 a.m. by members of the Santa Clara County Sheriff's dive team, who searched for 90 minutes before finding it.

No more details were released.
