SJ Police Seek Armed Robbers, Stolen Car

San Jose police are looking for possibly three suspects who allegedly held up a man at knife point early Thursday morning and then fled in a stolen car.

Officer Jose Garcia said after the robbery, three suspects fled in a stolen car. The victim provided a description of the car to a dispatcher, who then sent officers to track it down.

Police spotted the getaway car and were trying to stop it, when the car raced off on U.S. Highway 101, and crashed into a chain link fence near Alum Rock Avenue.

The driver and two passengers jumped out of the car and haven't been seen since. The car was a white 1994 Nissan, which had been reported stolen on Monday,

No injuries were reported during the robbery or as a result of the suspect vehicle crashing.  No further details are being released.
