San Jose Police Department reported a hostage situation Saturday night in a residential neighborhood.
Police have successfully escorted everyone out of the house at Capitol Expressway and McLaughlin Avenue except for the gunman and two other people.
The entire neighborhood has been evacuated and cordoned off, police said.
Police, SWAT and detectives are on scene.
