SJSU Rejects Spring 2011 Admissions

San Jose State University officials has announced that for the second year in a row, the school will be unable to accept most admissions applications for the spring semester.

They blame state budget constraints.

Those unable to apply for the spring semester include prospective first-time freshmen, community college transfer students, graduate students and students seeking a second bachelor's degree.

Exceptions include non-state-funded programs for working  professionals and several teacher credentialing programs.

Any changes to spring admissions policy will be posted on CSU  mentor by Aug. 1, though such changes are unlikely, according to the university.
