Sam Liccardo's Laptop Stolen Outside San Jose City Hall

Someone snatched the councilman and mayoral candidate’s computer while he was talking on his phone

San Jose City Councilman Sam Liccardo had his laptop stolen while he stood chatting on his phone outside City Hall, the mayoral candidate’s office confirmed on Friday.

Liccardo was standing Tuesday on the 4th Street side of City Hall when someone ran off with his briefcase, which contained his computer.

Campaign manager Ragan Henninger said Liccardo filed a police report.

Liccardo will face Dave Cortese, a Santa Clara County supervisor, in the election this November.
