San Bruno police are looking for a prowler who broke into a home Tuesday night and was seen coming out of a family’s bathroom.
Lt. Tim Mahon said the 20-something clean shaven Latino man wearing a black jacket and sandals broke into a home on the 700 block of Seventh Avenue after 11:30 p.m.
The homeowner heard strange sounds and found the man emerging from his bathroom. Mahon said the homeowner thought it was very strange and asked the stranger what he was doing there, and he tried to grab him, but the man broke free and took off.
Nothing was stolen, however, and it doesn't appear that the man was actually using the restroom.
The man was last seen riding a bluish green women’s mountain bike north toward San Bruno Avenue.
