Man Hospitalized After Shooting Outside Police Station: SFPD

San Francisco police say a man is hospitalized following a shooting late Thursday in the area of Fillmore and Turk streets.

The shooting was reported at 9:18 p.m. outside of a McDonald's restaurant across from the police department's Northern Station on Fillmore Street, Officer Grace Gatpandan said.

Gatpandan said the victim was shot by unknown suspects. 

The man was transported to San Francisco General Hospital. Information on his condition was not immediately available.

Police have shut down streets in the area as part of the investigation and are also reviewing surveillance video, Gatpandan said.
