SF Police Investigating Shooting in the Richmond District

One person was shot in San Francisco's Richmond District Sunday night on Geary and 29th Avenue.

San Francisco police are investigating a shooting in the Richmond District Sunday evening.

Police said one person was shot shortly before 7 p.m. at Geary and 29th Avenue. The victim is in the hospital, and his condition his unknown.

The shooting occurred when two occupants in a vehicle reportedly became involved in an altercation.

No arrests have been made. It is believed the shooter is still at large.

UPDATE: Police said a fight in a car led to the shooting Sunday evening.

Police are searching for at least two people involved in the shooting, and two vehicles were seen fleeing the scene as well.

The victim is in critical condition.
