San Francisco Ranks No. 5 in WalletHub's Best Cities for New Year's Eve Celebrations

Wondering where to ring in the New Year?

Well look no further, San Francisco has just been ranked No. 5 overall on WalletHub's 2017's Best Places for New Year's Eve Celebrations. 

Based on their report, in comparison to 100 cities across the nation, San Francisco is tied as the best No.1 city - along with New York and Las Vegas  - with the most nightlife options. It also ranked No. 5 in the "Most Restaurants per Capita" category and No. 4 in the "Most Luxury Shops and Gourmet-Food Stores per Capita." 

In order to determine the best spots in the country to celebrate New Year's Eve, WalletHub compared 100 of the most populated cities in four categories: Entertainment and food, costs and safety and accessibility. 

San Francisco was not the only Bay Area city to rank on the list, Oakland placed No. 77, San Jose No. 84 and Fremont No. 99.
