San Francisco to Paris in Two Minutes

As captured by photographer.

Photographer Nate Bolt set up his camera and tripod on a trip from San Francisco to Paris. He shot nearly 2500 photos, at intervals of one every two miles, about a click every 30 seconds, for 11 hours.

Bolt's YouTube page notes, "The photos during take-off and landing are all computer models and totally rendered because I would never use an electronic device during times which the FAA prohibits them. I did get lucky and have a whole row to myself to setup the tripod and gear."

He used a Canon 5D2, along with a time-lapse controller, and "a 16mm - 35mm, mixed with some iPhone shots."

He also thanks the Air France crew for being "insanely friendly" and allowing him to do the shoot.
