San Jose Considers Memorial Highway Signs for Fallen Officer Michael Johnson

San Jose city leaders will discuss adding two highway memorial signs to pay tribute to an officer killed in the line of duty.

Michael Johnson was shot and killed in March while responding to a call of a suicidal man who opened fire on responding officers.

City council leaders next week will consider installing the signs -- one on northbound Highway 87 at the Capitol Expressway exit and another on southbound Highway 87 near the Interstate 280 interchange.
