Crews Extinguish Pair of Suspicious Fires in San Jose

San Jose firefighters extinguished a pair of suspicious fires Tuesday night.

Arson investigators are looking into a pair of suspicious fires that sparked up in San Jose on Tuesday.

San Jose Fire Department crews were called to the creek area near Story Road and Remillard Court at about 7 p.m.

Once crews extinguished the blaze, firefighters discovered another fire just 600 feet away.

Investigators said a homeless encampment was burned down in the second blaze.

No injuries were reported and an investigation is ongoing.
