San Jose Leaders Approve Installation of 2 Memorial Highway Signs for Fallen Officer Michael Johnson

San Jose city leaders on Tuesday were unanimous while approving two highway memorial signs to pay tribute to an officer killed in the line of duty.

Michael Johnson was shot and killed in March while responding to a call of a suicidal man who opened fire on responding officers.

According to the City Council, one sign will be installed on northbound Highway 87 at the Capitol Expressway exit and the other on southbound Highway 87 near the Interstate 280 interchange.
