San Jose Police: 2 Arrested in Hit-and-Run Homicide Near Capitol Flea Market

San Jose police say they have arrested two suspects in a deadly hit-and-run that they are investigating as a homicide.

Eric Vallejo was killed Feb. 16 after a fight that started at the Capitol Flea Market, according to police.

SJPD has identified those arrested as 24-year-old Andrew Reynoso and 21-year-old Davinna Mariscal, both of San Jose.

Police say the fight between two groups started at the flea market and continued near the intersection of Snell Avenue and Capitol Expressway. A car hit Vallejo in the middle of Snell and Capitol Expressway.

Two others were seriously hurt.

The two groups ran away before police got there. Vallejo died on the street.

Police say the fight was gang-related.

Police are still looking for the driver of a charcoal-colored 2008 E-550 Mercedes Benz with rear end damage, license plate 7DMZ599.
