San Jose Police Arrest Man In City's 35th Homicide

Police are still looking into what might have happened between the two men.

San Jose police on Wednesday announced they arrested the man in connection with the city’s 35th homicide this year - a 52-year-old man they also finally identified.

Police arrested Curtis Kilgore, 30, on Oct. 4, a day after Hugo Humberto Hernandez was found unconcious on South  Second Street. Police were not immediately available to explain why it took until Wednesday to announce the arrest.

Following some sort of fight, Hernandez was found on the ground, not breathing. He was given CPR and taken to the hospital, but died at 9:55 p.m.

Police are still looking into what might have happened between the two men.
