It happened Sunday night, when police responded to a robbery alarm at a bar.

SJPD Investigate Officer-Involved Shooting

Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in San Jose.

Investigators say the shooting happened when police responded to a robbery alarm at a bar.

The call came in at 8:38 p.m. on Sunday night.

Officers were immediately dispatched to Richard's Bar, located in the 1700 block of Alum Rock Avenue, Officer Jose  Garcia said.

At least one officer dispatched their firearm.

No injuries were reported, he said.
