San Jose: Police Investigating City's 23rd Homicide

    Motive for killing remains under investigation. George Kiriyama reports.

    San Jose police are investigating the city's 23rd homicide.

    At 5:15 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the 2900 block of Huff Drive in West San Jose for a report of a fight.

    Police said a man was assaulted and subsequently transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced deceased at 6:29 p.m.

    A man suspected of the crime has been arrested and will be booked into Santa Clara County Jail for murder, police said.

    The motive remains under investigation.
