San Francisco and San Jose are among the best cities in the country to find work, according to a new survey conducted by job site Glassdoor.
San Jose landed at seventh place on a list of 25 cities, followed by San Francisco in the 12th position.
Glassdoor's findings indicated that the median base salary in San Jose is $99,000, while in San Francisco it's $70,000. The company found 51,439 job openings in San Jose and 94,933 in San Francisco. San Jose still ranked higher than San Francisco because of a smaller population (1,952,872 versus 4,594,060).
The survey's top city was Raleigh, N.C.; its bottom, Nashville, Tenn.
