The San Jose Sports Hall of Fame is slated to induct its class of 2015 Monday.

John Carlos, a San Jose State University track champion who went on to win a bronze medal at the 1968 Summer Olympics, will be honored. Carlos also became a civil rights icon.

Also, Jeff Garcia, who grew up in Gilroy, attended San Jose State between 1990 and 1993, and played as a quarterback for the 49ers will be inducted in Monday night’s ceremony at the SAP Center.

Other inductees include Christine Carver, a synchronized swimming choreographer and coach of the famed Santa Clara Aquamaids club, and Mani Hernandez, a soccer legend for both San Jose State and the Earthquakes.
