San Jose high school senior Sara Oromchi is a lot like other of 18 year old girls.
She is giggly and pretty and a little self conscious.
But this Branham High School senior is breaking out of her comfort zone.
Singing her way onto NBC's hit show "The Voice."
Oromchi says waiting to be called on stage was nerve racking.
She wasn't sure she would find her voice.
But she delivered.

She is a member of her high school's acoustic club and said having that experience performing helped her get through the NBC taping.
Her parents say Oromchi started singing when she was about 5 and just never stopped.
She tried out for reality shows before, but was rejected.
She says she didn't let that get in the way of her dream of making a living with her voice. A dream that just might come true.
