San Jose's Lynbrook High Ranked in National Top 10 STEM Schools

A San Jose high school has been recognized as one of the top 10 STEM (science, technology, mathematics, and engineering) schools in the country.

Lynbrook High School ranks tenth on this year's list, which is compiled by U.S. News & World Report.

According to the school's public profile, Lynbrook "serves many students whose parents are employed by 'high-tech' companies." More than 83% of the school's current enrollment of 1,843 students are Asian.

U.S. News & World Report determined that California has the second best performing schools in their rankings overall, following Maryland.
