Santa Clara County Sees VTA Service Changes to 36 Bus Lines

Major and minor changes to 36 bus lines run by the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority, ranging from altered stop times to added buses, began Monday, a VTA spokeswoman said.

Major changes include added buses, meaning more trips per day, to lines 66, 68, 121 and 181, VTA spokeswoman Colleen Valles said.

A stop location for line 321 will move from Patrick Henry and Tasman drives to a block south at Patrick Henry and Democracy Way, Valles said.

Routes 328 and 330 will be extended and stops added at Almaden Expressway and Trinidad Drive and the expressway and Via Valiente, Valles said.

Line 522 will run over more hours on weekdays and Saturdays and new service added on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to Valles.

Minor changes to the exact times of stops along 28 other lines also took effect today, the VTA reported.

The adjustments made to the 36 lines are listed on the VTA's website, www.vta.org, under "January Service Changes," Valles said.
